Endeavour SSS is a partnership between two longstanding friends and their companies: Endeavour Land and S&S Quest Resources, two aspiring leaders in the property sector. It’s where architecture and design seamlessly integrates with business and construction. Indeed, it is the special and complimentary nature of the partnership, and the core values upon which it is based, that sets Endeavour SSS apart, and positions it well to deliver on the aspirations of future generations.
Ravin Ponniah is an architect and developer leading Endeavour SSS, and is backed by a track record of design and development of over 25 years in major companies and institutions. These range from global architectural practice Foster & Partners, to Government agencies focusing on affordable housing research and policy, to large infrastructure multinationals venturing into housing development.
From structuring major sustainability interventions across large property portfolios with global best-in-class corporations to developing award winning homes, Ravin has been part of the evolving fabric of homes and buildings in Malaysia over much of his career.
Beyond architecture and real estate, Ravin headed the Business Turnaround Division for Time, a listed telecommunications services provider and was Director at Khazanah Nasional Berhad. Furthermore, and in terms of giving back, Ravin has actively worked with the Government and NGOs to deliver socio-economic upliftment programmes in communities across the country.
Ravin has an M.Phil in Environmental Design and PhD in Architecture and Development Studies both from Trinity College, Cambridge University and also currently serves as a board member on the council of the Architectural Association School of Architecture (UK).
Shamrat Sen Gupta is a founder of Endeavour SSS and a serial entrepreneur who is sought after in Kuala Lumpur’s corporate scene serving as board member in two public listed companies.
His in-depth knowledge of the construction industry spanning the past decade has also won him awards for construction services and he is listed as one of the 100 most influential entrepreneurs in Malaysia. Beyond construction, he also leads companies in the consulting and retail sectors.
Shamrat’s involvement in philanthropy has also spanned decades – he is a Paul Harris Fellow and major donor to the Rotary Foundation as well as trustee of Yayasan MRCB. Shamrat is also a board member of Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia, Yayasan Kebajikan Negara and Institut Keusahawanan Negara, all three of which are appointments made by the Government of Malaysia.
With an intimate understanding of the construction industry and a business acumen honed by values, Shamrat strives to create value for his investors and stakeholders. Shamrat is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management (UK), Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK) and Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Management.
